User Management

Bread Admin users can easily add/remove users directly within the Merchant Portal. In order to add new users, follow the steps below:

1) Navigate to "User Management"
Click on the "User Management" button in the top righthand corner of your screen to be brought to your User Management panel:


2) Click "Add New User"
Click "Add New User" on the top right hand section of this page to launch the "Add New User" prompt:


3) Complete the "Add New User" prompt
Fill out the "Add New User" prompt including the following fields:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Permissions (Admin vs User role)
Once the form has been fully filled out, click the "Add User" button to generate an Okta registration email to this new user: 781

Retrieving Bread API keys

Bread's API endpoints require an API key and Secret key for Authentication purposes. In order to retrieve your Bread API keys, please follow the steps below:

1) Login to Merchant Portal
Navigate to the appropriate Merchant Portal depending on which environment you'd like to pull API keys for:

2) Navigate to "Account Settings"
Click on the "Account Settings" button in the top righthand corner of your screen to be brought to your Account Settings panel:


3) Navigate to "Access Keys"
Click on the "General Settings" dropdown menu and select the "Access Keys" option.
On this screen, you will be able to view / copy your Integration, API Key, and Secret Key.




Only Bread Admin users have the ability to access the User Management or Account Settings panels.
